Establishment – June 1960
About Department-
Marathi department was established in the college in June 1960. Marathi department has been functioning since the establishment of the college and many famous writers were working in this department. Dr. Anand Yadav, Dr. Ashok Kamat, Dr. Veena Dev, and Dr. Sudhakar Bhosle was in charge of this department. Currently, senior writer, and thinker Dr. Madhavi Kharat and Dr. Deepak Gaikwad are working in the department. Dr. Madhavi Kharat has published two novels, two collections of stories, and four ideological articles. A review book and an edited book by Deepak Gaikwad have been published..
