Welcome to Marathi Department


      The Department of Marathi is one of the oldest Departments of the Shri Shahu Mandir Myahavidyalaya pune.  with the aims of promoting Marathi language & culture and also study of its history.

        The total built up area of the department is about 450sq. feet. Cabin for the head of the Department and Faculty Members. Department stared in June 1960 with eminent Personalities such as Presently Marathi department head Dr. Shobha Ingwale. The Department has glorious history of result in the college. The department has a Tradition of good result.

In the year of 2013, the department had organized a two-day national level seminar on “Women Sensibilities in Indian Autobiographical”.

 There were more than 80 participants from all over Maharashtra for National Level Seminar.
